gxeps(1) GrADS V1.6.beta4 gxeps(1)
NAME
gxeps - translate GrADS metacode format to PostScript format
SYNOPSIS
gxeps [ -acdilrsv -i <infile> -o <outfile> ] [<infile>] ]
DESCRIPTION
gxeps convert the GrADS metacode format file to a PostScript
file.
Without any given option, gxeps converts per default the
GrADS metacode format file to a greyscale on white back-
ground PostScript file. The default GrADS rainbow colors
(color numbers 2 to 14) are translated into pleasing greys-
cale values. User defined rainbow colors (numbers above 15)
are translated to greyscale intensity based on their green
content only.

-o fname output PostScript file name fname.
-c print color on a white background (= old
gxpscw).
-r print greyscale on a black background.
-d add a CTRL-D to the end of the file, useful
if printing on a HP 1200C/PS color printer.
-1 use PostScript Level 1.
-2 use PostScript Level 2.
-a Page size DIN A4.
-l Page size US-Letter.
